16 Indian Army Personal killed in road accident in Sikkim.

 Sixteen (16) Indian Army personnel including 3 Junior Commissioned Officers ( JCO's) were killed in a road accident at Zema in North Sikkim on Friday when their vehicle skidded off the Road while driving round the sharp curve. the Army said.  The vehicle was part of a 3 vehicle convoy going from Chatten towards Thangu.  Enroute at Zena I'll fated vehicle skided at sharp turn and fell into deep gorge. Immediately a rescue mission was initiated and 4 Jawans were air evacuated. The Army official said.  Meanwhile union defense minister has said he is deeply pained by the loss of lives of Indian Army personnel in the accident.  "The nation is deeply grateful for their service and commitment. My condolences to the bereaved families.  Praying for the speedy recovery of those who are injured, " He tweeted.
