Sixteen (16) Indian Army personnel including 3 Junior Commissioned Officers ( JCO's) were killed in a road accident at Zema in North Sikkim on Friday when their vehicle skidded off the Road while driving round the sharp curve. the Army said. The vehicle was part of a 3 vehicle convoy going from Chatten towards Thangu. Enroute at Zena I'll fated vehicle skided at sharp turn and fell into deep gorge. Immediately a rescue mission was initiated and 4 Jawans were air evacuated. The Army official said.
